I'm trying to connect Coolpix S7000 to iPad Air running

Customer Question

I'm trying to connect Coolpix S7000 to iPad Air running 7.1.2. iPad Air's Wi-Fi recognizes the connection and the camera's screen shows Negotiating...Please Wait. I then open the CamScan Lite on the iPad. It scans but never finds it. Camera still shows Netgotiating...Please Wait. What am I doing wrong?

I had to pay the whole $19 via PayPal, not just the $5 deposit. I need to be away from the computer so please call/text me.(###) ###-####

I need to log off. Waiting for your call (don't text as it won't alert me). Call regardless of the time. Thought it was going to be quicker since someone seemed to be available. You'll need to help me understand how Just Answer works. It's my first time trying it.

Hello,
I am Pete, and I'll be happy to assist with your question today.
You seem to be doing everything right, so there may be a network issue or a conflicting app running.
Try restarting everything, including your wireless router.
Force-close all apps on the iPad AIR, power it off, then start it up again.
Now try again and let me know if it is successful...

How do I force close all the apps on my iPad Air?
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.
To force-close an app,
Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps. Swipe up on each app's preview to close it.
