I just upgraded my MacBook Pro to the Yosemite operation

Customer Question

I just upgraded my MacBook Pro to the Yosemite operation system. Had the delay with getting I photo then Photos. Now when I connect my Canon EOS T3 Rebel, the computer does not recognize the connection and I cannot import photos. What do I need to do? Thanks.

I it not a cable problem, I have tried several, all of which work in other contexts. The camera and the Mac Book are not contacting each other. I have also tried inserting the flash card into the Mac Book. No Mac Book recognition of the content of the flash card, although the computer recognizes a NO NAME flash card has been inserted.

Hi there,
The flash card may have become corrupted.
The camera will only be detected by the MacBook if it contains a valid working card.
Try inserting a different flash card into the camera, then let me know if the MacBook detects the camera ok.
