What is the capacity of the memory cards you are trying to use?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
1 GB, 4 GB, 16GB
Expert:  Rusty replied 1 year ago.
Ok, the 4 and 16GB cards won't work in that camera, it will only accept up to 2GB. Let's focus on the 1GB card.In your tools menu, locate format, and format the 1GB card. Try to take a picture, and tell me the results.

My format on my camera is faded out and does not allow me to select it
