I have a Cannon Power Shot SD780 IS 12.1 MEGA PIXEL camera that i have got something sticky on the lense clam shell covers that separate when the on button is pushed to turn the camera on. what cab i do to remove the cover so i can clean them? Thank You ***** /***@******.***

Hi Greg, I'm sorry to hear that.Taking this apart is rather tricky and will likely cause damage when the parts spring out if you aren't familiar with this type of work especially on this camera model.Your best bet is to have a camera or any electronics repair shop clean this for you as they have the best cleaner for this product.Or, you could clean this if it isn't too bad with Q tips and TV tuner spray on the ends and a can of spray duster for electronics. Stores like Best Buy will have the cleaner for this application.
