My D4 has stopped working. It cannot focus either manually

My D4 has stopped working. It cannot focus either manually or using AF. I have swopped batteries and put the factory presets back but the problem remains Not sure what extra details you need! The focusing system seems to have failed completely.

You have already ruled out most causes from this with being batteries, the settings or Lens. It the confirms the issue as the mainboard or drive motor in the camera, likely the drive motor based on what you have described.
There is not a lot you can do about this sorry but return the camera to have the diagnostics performed and the faulting component replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Thank you
