GoPro Hero 4 Silver: I have a video I'm putting together that

Customer Question

GoPro Hero 4 Silver: I have a video I'm putting together that now shows a .gcs file of 1.059 gigabytes ... and it will no longer "save". Is there a maximum size the GoPro Studio software can accommodate?

Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
GoPro unfortunately has an inherent and definite file size limit of 4 GB (four gigabytes.)
Some other problem is limiting the size of that video file. I suggest that your SD card or other storage that you are putting that video file onto, may be already full, causing it to stop short of saving any additions to the video file's size. Try getting another compatible SD memory card, and see if a larger video file size can be created on it, after it is freshly formatted in the GoPro device.
