Hi and thank you for choosing Just Answer.
I am Tech Michael and I will be assisting you today.
Please be patient as these are technical questions that may require a bit of conversation to solve. Also remember to be detailed in your description of the problem. That will help me make a diagnosis quickly for you.
How old is your camera?
Also do you hear the motor running when it is supposed to be feeding the picture out? Or is it silent, please explain.
Thank you
Tech Michael

Yes, I can hear the motor running and it flashes when I click the button. When I put the film pack in it spit out the black top layer, but whenever I point to shoot the camera is running but won't spit out the film.

However I don't know how old the camera is. I would say old. It's a Polaroid 600 impulse but it's in great condition. When I bought it at a yard sale it had two films in it and they spit out just fine, but with the new packs I can't get the film to spit out.

Thanks for that info I figured they were very old loll.
This is a problem where the internal drive wheels have become worn out or need platten restorer to make them stick to the film again.
This would need to be taken to a local camera repair shop for this fix, they will either clean the rubber wheels or replace them if they are too dried out as they will do over a long period of time.
In any case that isn't an expensive repair, but it is one I don't recommend you trying at home because this is one of those units that when you open the case a lot of parts levers and springs will tend to pop out of place and its very difficult to reset them once they pop off if you aren't very familiar with this cameras internal workings.
I wish I had better news for you on this but a camera repair shop can fix this with ease;-)
I will stick with you until your unit is working correctly, You can always get in touch with me if you need further assistance after rating.
Please rate my service kindly thus far, and thank you!
Have a great day!

Okay, so I got the camera about a week ago, and it spit the film out instantly but now it won't so it's definitely the wheels? Also, do you know about how much this repair will cost?
Expert:  Michael replied 1 year ago.
Hi thats a bummer, but to be expected due to its age, and it likely wasn't used for a long time as well.
The wheels aren't very expensive at all under $20.00 but this camera if you really like it, should be tuned up as well when you have the wheels serviced. And that isn't much either if you have an honest repair technician.
I would say this whole job should cost no more than $ 60.00, that is what I would charge to make this repair , clean and lube all mechanical parts and replace the wheels that are dry rotted.
Hope that helps;-)
Please remember to rate my service, as it is the only way I receive any credit for my time with you;-)
Have a great day!

Hi, I'm sorry to bother you, I think you are rating the companies service and not mine.
Could you please check that for us?
