Customer Question

Nikon D60, I have watched several of the videos to repair the shutter release from sticking, after a number of tries, taking the bottom of the camera off and moving the red wheel, it might work for four or five shots then back to sticking again.
Please advise what are my alternatives? Is this an expensive fix; is it worth putting a couple hundred dollars into repairing or should I opt for a replacement. My camera is probably 6 or 7 years old, and I have used and abused taking at least 100K photos for my job.
thank you

Hi. My name is***** own a small camera repair business and am a technician with over 25 years in the business. I'll be glad to help you.
The good news is the camera is very repairable and with a little shopping you may be able to get it repaired for around $100. It will need to be completely disassembled to repair pr replace the defective mechanism. You may want to check locally for a camera repair shop in your area, or, if you need assistance finding a shop, please let me know and I'll locate one for you.
