A week after I purchased my Canon SX50 the back display stopped working. The screen seems to light up slightly, so it's not completely dead. I also can't view my photos either. Occasionally it will work, but very rarely.

Hello my name is***** look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem. I want to warn you that it is possible you will need to replace a part in order to fix this. There are a few different things that can cause this and a couple different parts so we would need to troubleshoot to find out for sure. How old is the camera now?

It's brand new to me and I've already contacted and received approval to return it to Canon. I was just wondering if this was a common problem with a simple fix. If I need to change parts, I'll have to end this right now.
