I want you please to reset the camera in order to remove any corruption that can cause this.
To do so, while the camera is on, hold both the +/- Exposure Compensation button and AF Mode button for two seconds, then release.
Once done, put a working memory card into the camera, take pictures and tell me if you still have the problem please.

Richard,Sorry to report, same problem. I will take a few pictures, then go back to shooting mode, and when I go back to view the pictures I get an hour glass for a good 10 seconds before I get a message saying file does not contain image data. So I can see the image I just shot, then after a few minutes the file corrupts. I've offloaded these files onto my laptop, and I'll try to recover them. But this doesn't solve the camera glitch. I've tried repeating your instructions 3 times with the same result.
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, can you first format the card on the Laptop
Then put it in the camera, reset the camera and tell me if you still have the problem please

Can you please return to your question here?

Hi Richard. I just tried reformatting one of the memory cards, and followed the rest of your instructions. So far so good. I'll format the other card and see as well. Too soon to tell. It took a few moments for the cards to error last time. will let you know.
