I don't know how it came loose, I don't know how old it is. I gave you the model number; the flip out viewing screen is very loose, can it be tightened?
Expert:  Michael replied 1 year ago.
Hi the screen unfortunately can not be tightened;-(
You would need to have that replaced or taken apart by an experienced camera shop, they can replace that part for you.
Its not really a do it yourself because when you take this camera apart a lot of parts can easily pop out of place and you wont know how they go back in the unit unless you had experience working on these. In additional it can be very easy to break the delicate ribbon cables that will move out of place once you pull the covers apart from the chassis. Eve I have damaged them and I have been fixing cameras for over 30 years loll;-) They are also difficult to replace.
I wish I had better news for you on this I really do.
You could try using a tiny piece of double stick tape to hold the screen door in place if you don't want to put the camera in the shop;-)
If there is anything else I can help with please let me know, If you don't have a local camera repair shop nearby many home electronics stores now take these in for repair, even Sears does this and they are very good price wise and provide quality repairs;-)
