Can you try another cable? When you connect the camera do you hear a sound? Open any folder and click on this pc on the left. While watching the screen that opens disconnect and reconnect the camera. Does something appear/disappear when you do that?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No sound -- pc!?? I'm using cell phone to read your text
Expert:  Freddy M. replied 2 years ago.
Your problem says it is a camera to computer, the questions I gave you refer to the windows 8 computer.

Don't understand "click on this pc on the left
Expert:  Freddy M. replied 2 years ago.
You skipped a step on any folder first, then on the left you will see an option that says this pc which you can click on.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Still don';t understand your reference to "any folder". Ready to give up and go to an Apple store to buy a new cable. Do I owe you anything? Really not satisfied.
Expert:  Freddy M. replied 2 years ago.
You said you were using windows 8, apple has nothing to do with windows 8. I am going to opt out and it sounds like you are not sure what you have.

OK. Closing.
