Optional Information: Make: CANON Model: EOS400D Already Tried: TURNING OFF AND ON AS SUGGESTED
Hi i am the expert who will assit you today. I am sorry for the problem you are experiencing.
Can you put camera in M mode and pop the flash manually using the button?
Hi, tried to do that no luck
do u see flash pop up?
getting the same message
Please tell does the flash pop up instantly or remains down?
it is clicking as if it is trying to pop up but is not
ok, remove the battery, then insert battery again. turn camera on in M mode when pressing flash release button pull the flash head up with your hand, helping flash to pop up
OK DONE THAT, FLASH HEAD NOW OPEN
when the flash stays up. leave it in up position then remove the battery again put battery again and take picture with flash up. tell me do you see error 05?
THAT HAS WORKD IN MANUAL MODE, SHALL I NOW PUT THE FLASH DOWN AND TRY IN AUTO MODE
no, hold on
i want you to apply some force agans front housing using both your fingers, not towuards flash head gainst. this will eleminate the friction between the flash head and front housing and u not going to get the error again. please try
OK, SHALL I NOW TRY MANUAL MODE
if area under the flash head has liquid or dirt that is sticking, please use some alkohol and clean it
ok try in auto now
THAT HAS WORKED. MANY THANKS
exellent
