Hi there. My name is XXXXX, XXX it would be my pleasure to help with your issue.
This could be several different things. Hopefully it's nothing serious, and can be remedied without too much trouble. Here's some steps I'd like you to try and let me know how it goes.
Try removing the batteries, memory card, and any other accessories that may be removable from your camera and letting it sit for a few minutes. Then re-install new or verified fully charged batteries only and try powering it on with no memory card installed. Memory cards can easily become corrupted during transfer or if the card has been used in more than one device without being formatted. Also, make sure that the batteries are oriented correctly and that the battery door is fully closed. Most camera's have a micro switch on the battery compartment that will keep the camera from powering on if the battery door isn't fully closed. Then try connecting and disconnecting the camera from your computer using the supplied USB cable and try powering it on with it both connected and disconnected several times. If the camera has a firmware error where it thinks it's still connected to a computer this can also affect the start up process.
Hope this helps. Let me know if there's anything else that I can do to assist you. Please don't forget to rate my response as positive if I've been helpful. If you feel the need to rate "I expected more" or "helped a little", please respond to me and we'll continue the conversation until you are satisfied with the level of service that you've received.
I am trying it. Then I will get back to you
If you've tried the above steps and you are still getting no response then you have an internal component failure that will require that you send the camera in for service. The only issue with that is the cost of repairs is going to be more than the camera is worth. I recommend replacing the camera rather than having it repaired. PLEASE do not rate my service as "poor" or "I expected more" or "helped a little" without responding to me and letting me know why you are rating this way. I'm opting out of your question so that another expert can have a chance to help with your issue. Please stand by.
