Customer Question

I have a D5000 which I love - we just returned from vacation and the download to the computer moves 100 prints - the counter shows 160(sometimes) but we can't retrieve or review the other 60 images no matter what we try Thank you for your help

Hello, my name is Rusty. I can help you.

With your camera plugged into your computer, go to start menu, click Computer. Double click your camera. This will open your camera as a mass storage device in a new window.

Navigate through the folders. This will show you everything that is on the card.
You also have an internal memory on the camera, that the 60 pictures may have stored to. With the camera disconnected from your computer, and the camera turned off, take out the memory card. Do you see the other 60 photos? Try to move them with your software.

You have now seen every place that the pictures could have been stored to.
