Hi and welcome to JustAnswer,Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only... Initially, any error code displayed; something like E01?Benimur41089.1842795949
No it just cam e up unit in safe mode and will not let you take any vidios
Similarly none in the electronic view finder? No E0#?
No numbers or other infomation other than Unit in safe mode 01 It then says to remove batery and replace , Ihave done that a number of times including leaving the battery out over nite . Battery is fully charged , It wont even let me eject the tape
The 01 is very significant as it is the error code pointing to a loading problem. Please reference troubleshooting / diagnosis from the repair/Service Manual. It would be an internal hardware issue. Still, there is a possible fix; though not quick-n-easy and neither is there a workaround. The unit would have to be opened up for visual inspection, voltage measurements, confirm fault and effect repairs. Are you then considering a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair approach? Are you familiar with electronic components, have access to / comfortable in the use of a multimeter and perhaps even a soldering iron/hot-air station? Please post back how you would want to approach this and/or should additional information be needed. Would the above then be an acceptable approach?
I will have to send it to a repair shop , Do youknow of any in My area . Hervey bay Queensland Australia . Thanks for your past help even if we could not fix the problem
I understand.Should you be uncomfortable with a DIY, perhaps your best bet would then be to consult with and/or seek the services of an authorized JVC/Kenwood Service Center (specially if still under some form of extended warranty) or an independent repair shop / qualified professional.
