Hi. My name isXXXXX'm the owner and lead technician for Discount Camera Repair and I'll be happy to help you with your question today.
The problem may not be the camera but rather the lens. Most newer DSLR lenses are prone to AF motor failures. Have you tried more than one lens on the camera?
Even though your camera is gray market and Nikon will not repair it there are many independent repair shops who will be more than happy to repair the camera for you. Below is a link to a directory of repair shops, one of which should be in your area and able to help you.

yes I tried different type of lens, just need to know if its worth fixing. or even if there is a fix
The Nikon D80 sells new for around $700 and a good used one will run about $500 or more. Repairing the one you have will cost about half that. It will probably need the AF sensor module replaced. This can be done by a qualified camera repair technician and will not necessarily Nikons Repair Facility.
In my opinion, the camera is well worth repairing. It's a good model with many features.
