I have cannon power shot a520& when I turn it off & on the window for the month & date comes on.When you set the mm/dd/yy & the time &press the set button.turn it off the window comes back?
Optional Information: Make: cannon Model: a520 Already Tried: to set it & press the set button but comes back as soon as you turn it back on.

Its a internal Date & Time battery ( Coin battery) fault. That battery have no more power to save the date & time & that's why after turn on the camera every time you face this problem. Please visit any camera service center or repair center and ask them for replacing the coin battery. Its not costly & its a common problem. Thank you.
