What has most likely happened is that the battery was damaged. Don't worry though, a replacement is very inexpensive. Here is a link to one.

I BOUGHT A REPLACEMENT WHICH I CHARGED PUT INTO THE CAMERA, STILL NOT TURNING ON

NO, THE ORIGINAL BATTERY WAS IN THE WRONG CHARGER, THE REPLACEMENT BATTERY WAS RECHARGED WITH THE CORRECT CHARGER AND INSTALLED IN CAMCORDER, WHEN I RECHARGED THE ORINAL IT WAS THRU A A CHARGER PLACED DIRECTLY ON CAMCORDER, I NOTICED AFTER A COUPLE OF HOURS THE WHOLE UNIT WAS WARM.
Ok. See. So the camera itself was likely damaged with the wrong charger.
If the camera isn't working and you are certain that the new battery is correct, then you will have to have the camera serviced.
