Customer Question

I have a Nikon D700, and the built-in flash will not pop-up in program mode when I press the flash button. Could I have accidentally changed some settings that would cause this? Or is there a problem with the camera?

Model: D 700

Already Tried:
Tried changing to Auto/Manual/Program modes. Built in flash is not popping up. It used to until a few days ago.

Hi there and welcome to Just Answer. I'm sorry to hear about your camera. I will try and give you an accurate and precise answer.

 

Reset the camera. Hold down the two buttons that have the green dot next to them for about three seconds.

 

Then, pop the flash up, take a photo.

 

Any improvement?

Tried the reset. It still does not pop-up.
