What can i get to run my tapes onto dvd's or a flashdrive? i HAVE THE SHarp 8 camcorder

Quite a few. From several yrs. Our camera dont work. so i either have to buy another one or not quite sure how to run them off.
Got it.To convert the tapes yourself, you will need to get a device that is capable of playing Hi 8 tapes, and that would probably be a new camera. You can then use a conversion software to convert the downloaded files into a DVD. You can get the full details and also this software here:http://www.daniusoft.com/burn-dvd/transfer-hi8-to-dvd.htmlJust so you know - there are online services where you send the tapes in and they convert it for you, saves you the price of the new camcorder and the headaches of conversion.
