My camera, a D300s got rained on, not much, I quickly dried it off and the battery off, and it continued to shoot for the morning. Later in the day it wouldn't power up. If the moisture damaged a circuit board and I have to send it to NIkon, how much could it cost and how long would it take?
Optional Information: Make: Nikon Model: D300s Already Tried: nothing
Let me go two ways with this. If you have to ship it to Nikon for repair a lot will depend on which board they have to replace. On average the cost word be about $150 and probably take about 2 to 3 weeks to get it back.
Now having said this have you tried replacing the battery, just in case the moisture shorted it out.
