I own a CASIO Exilim EX-Z200 (S/N 40008293A) incl underwater box. All of a sudden the screen did not display the picture, but some vertical stripes were randomly spread over the sceen. Can this be fixed? Is a firmware update needed?What will you suggest that I do?Brgds, Ole Reumert

By pressing the menu button there is still only a lot of vertical stripes acros the screen.
When the camera is on, and the screen only shows the vertical stripes, it seems like I can still take a picture: It clicks like normal, but I have not so far chacked the SD card.
I just checked the SD card, and the pictures are there OK.
Unfortunately what you have described indicates that there is a problem with the LCD or the connection to it that’s why you are facing this type of problem. So please contact Casio service center because this type LCD screen repairing or replacing is not possible at your home. I apologize for this inconvenience.
