I own a kodak easyshare V1253 and I get poor focus and wavy

Resolved Question:

I own a kodak easyshare V1253 and I get poor focus and wavy lines when I take photos and it's impossible to get closeup detail in a photo without the wavy lines.

Is this a barrery problem? It still functions the same way when fully charged.

Or is there some other sort of electronic problem in the camera.

Hi Tim,if you are able to see clearly the subject you are taking,I will suggest that problem is within lens. This model has had problems with ccd image sensor as well(lines would show on lcd prior to shot).I suspect that problem is most likely with shutter,a sticking shutter will cause what you describe.Gently thumping camera onto the palm of your hand may serve to free shutter mech, otherwise I will suspect that lens repair will be needed. If necessary, the most cost effective repair route will be to contact mfg factory service.Contact Kodak,if necessary, located in Illinois,at(NNN) NNN-NNNN/p>

If you have any other questions please ask....Best to you,Joe
