My Panasonic DMC FZ50 has started occasionally taking very

My Panasonic DMC FZ50 has started occasionally taking very weird pictures.... The viewfinder suddenly sees everything in bluey-pink and the photo subsequently taken is bluey-pink and full of smudgy 'icicles'. The subject is often unrecognisable. Then the camera may return to normal for a few shots before it happens again. Can you explain this or should I forward some of the shots?

Hi,

Unfortunately what you have described indicates that there is a problem with the ccd or the connection to it, and while your camera is not on the current list of cameras for possible free repair, the information at the link below may be of interest to you since more and more newer models have the identical problem: click on or copy and paste the link into your browser
