Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about your problem.

Did you check the "Flash Mode Off"?

Regards.
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
I have the flash on and the setting to indoor and i press the button to take the picture and nothing happens. If I change the settings to foliage, kids and pets, etc. and have it set to flash or auto flash it will not take the picture.

Okay. Did the camera fall or did anyone change any setting prior to your knowledge?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
No, I have it in my purse and in a case at all times. It was working fine last Thursday and when I went to take pictures on Saturday...no flash.

Okay Nathalie. First use new batteries and see if it helps. If not the problem is with the flash circuit. The flash draws most of the power because it is Xenon. If the flash isn't working, then the battery should last long and this will tell you that the flash circuit is the problem. The problem might be due to a cold solder or a bad component. But I'm pretty sure that the flash itself is good. Fixing it would cost you around $100. I wish I could do some wand trick to solve the problem but there ain't no easy fix for this. If you have any other queries then I would be glad to assist you further.

Regards.
