Customer Question

my dog has a dry cough. Can I given him robatusin DM
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Coughing can be worrying. The Veterinarian will know what you should do. What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: His name is ***** ***** his around 12 years. He started the cough when he got excited to go out side. He calmed down and it stopped, but today, he was just sitting in his chair. It's a dry cough.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Smokie?
Customer: When I call his name, he stops

Why have you taking out another $15 out of my account with my permission?

In response to your question, you can give him Robitussin DM (cough) 1/2 teaspoon every 6-8 hours. Do not give sugar-free. It is important to remember that a cough could be a sign of a respiratory infection, underlying heart disease, etc. I would also recommend a hands-on examination with your family veterinarian.

Note: I don't deal with cost issues, please contact customer service they will help you with charges. I only answer veterinary questions, I am sorry.
