I am sorry to hear about Hammie's condition. I am afraid that i do not have good news as my top two differentials for the description you gave would be a tumor or an in abscess behind the eye. My best recommendation would be to have him examined by a vet. If he is otherwise feeling well, eating drinking and active then you can try a course of antibiotics and pain medication. If he is not feeling well or does not respond to the course of antibiotics, then I would recommend considering euthanasia as this is the kindest thing if he is suffering and we cannot make him feel better.

I am already @ vet, this morning. last night I wondered if there was any home remedy that I could've done to help the eye. I was asleep by the time your email came in, but thank you for responding.
