Can you see fluid in the lungs?

Customer Question

Can you see fluid in the lungs ?

His enlarged left atrium indicates heart failure. There are nodular densities in his caudal lung lobes worrisome for neoplasia or fungal infection. There are densities that appear alveolar to me as well which could indicate fluid suggestive of congestive heart failure. There are numerous air bronchograms indicating increased moisture in the lungfields but I don't see free fluid in the chest cavity. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
