Hi there, I'm Dr. Sara. I'm a licensed veterinarian who works exclusively with dogs and cats. I'm sorry to hear that Mottley hasn't been feeling well today. I know that this may not be what you want to hear, but based on your description of what he's doing, I would suggest that you have him seen by a veterinarian ASAP. Pale gums and weakness are definitely red flags that could indicate severe or life threatening issues. It's not necessarily related to the nail trimming yesterday - that could all be coincidence. But I'm very worried that he could have severe anemia, infection, shock, or cardiac disease that could be life threatening based upon your description. Please let me know what other questions I can handle for you.
