Aloha! You're speaking with Dr. Michael Salkin
I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Please have Molly attended to by a vet at your earliest convenience. A "swollen" stomach suggests an abdominal effusion - a collection of fluid within the abdominal cavity. These effusions may arise from advanced heart or liver disease, cancer within the abdomen, and bleeding from ruptured organs. I can't rule out a gastrointestinal tract distended by fluid and air, instead, from here and so her vet will need to thoroughly examine Molly including X-rays and/or ultrasound of Molly's abdomen.
I'm sorry that I can't be more specific for you. I, too, would need to examine Molly before being able to tell you how you might help her. May I have an update on Molly, please?
