have been trying to get as much water into him as possible. he seems disoriented . it occurred about 30 minutes ago his gums are red

Expert:  Veterinarian101 replied 1 year ago.
The water is to flush out the mouth not to drink!! I would wipe his gums with a wet rag.Red gums indicate he has been affected. After 30 minutes it is reasonably likely that he will suvive. He will likely improve over the next 30 minutes. Please let me know if I can help any further.
