This answer was rated:

My molluccan cockatoo escape artist got out of his cage while I was at work tonight and got into chocolate candy that was on the dining room table. It doesn't look like he ate much but I don't know what to watch for far as reaction to it. There aren't any vets close by that can take care of parrots and I'm worried. So far he seems okay, but I don't know how long it has been since he ate it. Can you help me out. Thanks
Welcome to JA. I'm Dr. Gregg and I will try to help you today. I have never seen or heard of a chocolate toxicity in a bird, so I checked with an avian expert who said the same. Apparently cooper did no real harm in his latest excursion
