Welcome to JustAnswer! I am a licensed veterinarian and specialist and will do my best to assist you today! For cases such as this - common treatments and thoughts include:1) A bland diet of boiled chicken and rice for a few days to see if the signs resolve.Rather than large meals - you might wish to start feeding smaller meals more often, which will not lead to the full belly and therefore the hope for improved comfort.2) Regarding stomach upset, Pepcid A/C (Famotidine) is also a consideration - dosages and usage information here: http://www.petplace.com/drug-library/famotidine-pepcid/page1.aspxThis can be given 30 minutes before a meal. 3) Medications for nausea- Cerenia (LINK HERE)- Zofran (LINK HERE)4) Probiotics can also be considered - LINK HERE or LINK HERETypically with supportive care such as this and the body's response to the virus, the signs easily resolve.I hope this information is helpful! This is meant to be a running dialogue, and for this reason it is very IMPORTANT that you reply using the REPLY TO EXPERT button if more information is needed at any time BEFORE rating.Positive RATING (EXCITED FACE or 5 STARS) and bonus if happy is appreciated as this is the only way I know you have received the information and I receive credit for my time. Please remember to ONLY rate my answer when you are 100% satisfied. the problem i have is due to that he has recently had parvo-virus and i want to know if this is it coming back? if he can get it back now hes already had it? he also had a wound from having a exploratory operation to find out what was wrong with him and am worried its not healing properly so would like to know what i can clean it with and how to care for the wound.
Parvovirus, once infected and treated can not come back. They will never get Parvovirus again in their life. For the wound, If there is just a local area - you may be able to treat it by washing the area with an antibacterial soap. An example would be chlorhexidine scrub (which you can get over the counter at pharmacy)This is meant to be a running dialogue, and for this reason it is very IMPORTANT that you reply using the REPLY TO EXPERT button if more information is needed at any time BEFORE rating.Positive RATING (EXCITED FACE or 5 STARS) and bonus if happy is appreciated as this is the only way I know you have received the information and I receive credit for my time. Please remember to ONLY rate my answer when you are 100% satisfied.
