Thank you for your question.

If your seahorse has gas bubble disease, then you do need to be tackling this early on for the best chance of treatment success.

To treat, you can use Diomax by dissolving 30mgs (1/8th of the standard 250mg tablet) in 1 cup of water. Once dissolved, you can inject this into a frozen ghost shrimp. He should have 2 treated shrimp per day for 4days.

Alternatively in the anorexic seahorse, you can treat the water. This can be more expensive, so we want to treat in a hospitalization tank. You can accomplish this by using a 5 gallon hospitalization tank that is filled with salt water at the required pH + temperature required. Then dissolve half a 250mg tablet of diamox into the water. Once this is completely dissolved, you can place the seahorse into the tank for 24 hours. Refresh the tank daily with a new Diamox preparation and treat for 7-10 days. Monitor his appetite, and return to the tank after treatment is complete.

I hope this information is helpful.
Please do let me know if you have any further questions.
If you have no further questions, feedback is always appreciated.

All the best,

Dr. B.
