Hi. I'm Dr. Gotthelf. I have been a vet for 33 years and I would like to use my experience to help you with your pet's medical problem.

After 10 days, there may very well be some type of obstruction. That could be stool that is in the colon or a foreign body that was ingested. Is the dog vomiting at all? With a total blockage, vomiting and abdominal pain should be the clinical signs that the dog is showing.

You can give a children's enema, available at any grocery or pharmacy. It may need to be repeated several times if the dog is really blocked up by stool.
