Coughing up blood could strongly suggest congestive heart failure, which can be controlled if you get in quick!

Even if I am wrong and this is not heart disease related, his symptoms still suggest the need for more immediate supportive care. No way to treat this at home. Wish I could.

The vet will quickly listen to the lungs and heart. They may be able to quickly tell if this is heart related or not.

Good Luck
Dr. Andy
