how many mililiters of benadryl can i give my 8 pound dog
Hello, I am Dr. Peter a licensed Veterinarian. I would like to help.

The dose for benadryl (diphenhydramine) is 1mg per pound body weight every 12 hours. So, for an 8 pound dog that would be 8mg every 12 hours. If you have liquid benadryl if you look at the label and tell me how many milligrams in each milliliter (ml) I would be glad to tell you how much to give. Finally, apply cold compresses for 5-10 minutes 3-4 times a day on the area.

Hope the above helps, if you have additional questions I will be glad to answer them.

Is that liquid? If so, in how many milliliter (ml) is the 12.5mg? You can find this information on the label.
