Thank you for your question.It is not uncommon, in this type of accident, for the dog to sustain bruising of the bladder wall which results in blood in the urine. Bruising of the kidney is also possible.If the blood is due to bruising, this should improve over the next couple of days. If it does not improve, if the bleeding worsens, or if she begins showing signs of pain, difficulty urinating, decreased appetite, or vomiting, then she should be examined by your vet.
