I have 2 red eared turtles - their skin is shedding , but maybe it is normal, but today I noticed that their have a hard time to open their eyes.

Hello I am Dr. Brian Vitamin A deficiency could account for these symptoms. A simple fix is to increase their vitamin A intake. Make sure you are using a UV bulb to enable them to properly absorb calcium as well. It is a very good idea to have them examined by your vet and checked for intestinal parasites (bring a poop sample) as part of a new reptile pet exam.
