Is Vetprofen the same medication as Advil but at a lower dose

This answer was rated:

Is Vetprofen the same medication as Advil but at a lower dose? Would Advil hurt my dog?

Hi, I am Dr. Peter and would like to help. In response to your question, Advil is ibuprofen and vetprofen is carprofen. These two medications are different. You should not use Advil in dogs it could be very easily toxic. Continue with the Vetprofen.

If you have additional questions I will be glad to answer them.
