can a frozen rattle snake be thawed and come back to life

The answer is no. However, it does take time for a snake who is placed into the freezer to die (hours). So, if it is brought out too early, it will still be alive.

If you are trying to rescussitate a snake accidentally placed into a freezer and it hasn't been in there long, then it is possible, but may require an emergency trip to the veterinarian. We have to treat it for hypothermia.

Good luck.
