Guinea pig with a broken leg

Resolved Question:

I have Guinea pig with a broken lower hind leg with restricted movement. Appears to be in no pain or distress, he is about 1.5 years old. Do you have any suggestions?

I'm sorry to read of your guinea pigs problem.
The good news is, if the fracture is not open, or the bone is not exposed, and it doesn't seem to be causing him any pain, the treatment is cage rest. Don't handle him or take him out of his cage for three weeks, unless you need to do that to clean his cage. If you must handle him, support the broken leg as much as possible to prevent excessive motion.
He should heal in the three week period.
If you should have further questions, please let me know.
Best regards.
