I'm Dr. Kris.

The dosage for benadryl is 1mg per pound. You can give your girl 1 teaspoon (12.5 mg) of the children's benadryl every 8-12 hours as needed for no more than 3 days. If she needs to have it longer than that then she'll need to see a vet.
