Hi

She may have a mite or louse infestation on her skin, or more likely she is allergic to the new bedding. They will continue to itch for some time and may need medication to calm the irritation down. Make certain you don't change the bedding with the same type, since it is an allergy to the product(pine chips etc). Go to your regular veterinarian as soon as you can. If you don't have one, look on line or in a phone book for either an exotic animal specialist or for a general practice veterinarian who says they treat Hampster. You can safely powder cornstarch on her tonight and this may calm the irritation down a little.

Hope this helps.

Hi

Yes it should as long as the cause of the irritation has been removed or treated.
