Have a terrible hemorrhoids flare up. Severe pain - external - have no control of bowel. Finding it hard to urinate. Thinking about ER but 3 in morning not sure they can do anything. Hoping to make it thru night and see proctologist in am.
JA: How long have you had the pain? What seems to make the pain better or worse?
Customer: Started around 10pm. Long history of hemorrhoids and was planning on having em removed in November. I also have myastenia gravis so need to be careful. Mostly concerned about inability to pee -'last time was around 1am but I have urge to go and can't. I am 54 old male
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

In ER they will do acute management like Banding and can give management for acute flare up .

So it would be ideal to visit ER prior to schedule examination please .
