This symptoms can be from blood, infection, can be normal, or not normal.
It requires an exam from your doctor...it is an alert to see your doctor.
A prostate exam is a minimal intervention needed.
So, even if it resolves...don't wait, see your doctor anyway.
That is proper clinical medicine. Any new symptom in this regard should prompt a visit to your doc.
At age 57 you must have a PSA and prostate exam. Any other recommendation would not meet a medical standard of care, and, on line, we can not examine you or run a PSA.
