I have non bacterial interstitial cystitis. A 4mm kidney

Customer Question

I have non bacterial interstitial cystitis. A 4mm kidney stone in my kidney. My dr. thinks the bladder irritation is from the stone in my kidney. Does this sound possible? Not sure how one place affects the other.

hi there,

I am online and i will be happy to answer your questions.

interstitial cystitis and kidney stones are two different diseases.

interstitial cystitis is a chronic pain syndrome whose etiology is not very clear.

Please let me know if i should provide further clarifications/ if you have any questions.

thanks
