Abcess on balls has gotten better with antibiotics and drained some but is super stiff what does the stiffness mean

This is Dr. David

stiffness of the skin and tissues can be fibrosis or scar tissue from the abscess.

scar tissue can be hard.

stiffness can also be a sign of infection or in rare cases, cancer as well.

but most likely the hardness of the tissues around the area of prior abscess is due to scar tissue.
