Customer Question

recent urinalysis in a hospital resulted in "renal failure" summary. When
asked for figures, I was told "somewhere around 1, or 1/2, or 2, which
means nothing to me. Previous MDs have said my kidney function holds its
own at around 25 %.
Question: can you put the numbers into perspective for me? tnx.

Thanks for your question. If I don't respond to you immediately, it is because I am either in the OR or traveling. I WILL get back to you ASAP.

Without the units of measurement, those numbers mean nothing to me either. Are those numbers your creatinine level?

Customer replied353 days and 9 hours ago.

That's all the info I have..no mention of creatinine or other. Now at home with only the knowledge given me at discharge: "renal failure." well, gee ,

If you can provide me with the units of measurement of those numbers or what the actual lab test was, I can provide you some help. Otherwise, there is no way I could even begin to guess what that is referring to. Sorry.
